Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Associate QA Engineer who is proficient in both manual and automation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will
have a strong background in testing web applications, mobile applications, and other software products to ensure they meet quality standards. This role
requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the overall technical lead and automated testing solutions resource;
Design and code key aspects of test automation framework(s);
Provide mentoring and technical guidance to the efforts of Software Engineers and QA Engineers in the realm of automation;
Conduct ad-hoc technical training, design and code reviews, and resolve technical issues for the test automation;
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality Assurance to identify necessary testing capabilities;
Partner with Engineering on test automation efforts and ensure that efforts support the testing solutions;
Own the configuration management that integrates test automation into the overall continuous integration environment;
Be liaison with Engineering for continuous integration management.
Job Requirements
3 years+ of progressive, hands-on manual testing and automation engineering in an enterprise software environment;
Strong familiarity with standard concepts and technologies used in web-based applications and testing web-based applications is required;
Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required;
Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile product development environment;
Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive production schedules and deadlines;
Experience implementing new technologies/methods;
Desired
Experience with some or most of these technologies and tools is desirable:
Jira - issue tracking
Selenium/Playwright - automation
Python is must
JMeter - load testing
Java, jScript, python - JUnit/Sit tests - development
Postman - API
Jenkins - release management
Testrail - testcase management
