Product Manager - Insurance

Years of Experience: 8-10 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive knowledge in the insurance sector and proven experience working on the Tinubu Platform, a SaaS InsurTech solution that supports Credit and Surety business. The ideal candidate will lead project initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects within the InsurTech domain, specifically focusing on the Tinubu Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project success.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, challenges, and achievements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in project management and insurance.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven experience with the Tinubu Platform
  • Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Credit and Surety business processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
  • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of project management experience, with a focus on the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
