About Us:
Founded in 2014, Vedantu emerged as a visionary in the ed-tech space, pioneering the shift towards online education in India. Our name, derived from Veda (knowledge) and Tantu (network), reflects our mission: to create a vast network of knowledge accessible to all. We embarked on a journey to transform the educational landscape, leveraging technology to make quality education available, affordable, and personalized.
Role Overview
As the Academic Program Manager for SIP and Simulcast, you will be the primary engine driving academic excellence and operational success across our partner schools and online students(Simulcast) who are attending the offline centre session from home. This is not a desk job; it is a high-stakes leadership role that bridges the gap between Vedantu's digital prowess and the physical classroom environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our Foundation, JEE, and NEET programs don't just exist within schools, but dominate them in terms of results, student satisfaction, and institutional trust.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Result Engineering
- Outcome Ownership: Take absolute bottom-line responsibility for student ranks and scores in JEE, NEET, and Foundation levels within assigned schools.
- Hybrid SIP Execution: Manage the seamless integration of Vedantu's hybrid model, ensuring the synergy between online master teachers and offline academic support.
- Academic Audits: Regularly monitor classroom delivery, curriculum progress, and testing schedules to identify and bridge learning gaps.
- Managing a team of academic mentors for the academic outcome-driven engagement and taking the responsibility of retention of the online students(Simulcast students: who are doing offline centre sessions from home)
2. Stakeholder Management & NPS
- Institutional Relations: Act as the face of Vedantu for school principals, trustees, and coordinators. Navigate school politics and operational hurdles to ensure program alignment.
- NPS Leadership: Drive both Student NPS and School NPS. You are responsible for ensuring that students feel mentored and that schools feel they have a premium academic partner.
- Retention & Continuity: Monitor student sentiment to minimise refund requests and maximise year-on-year continuity for the SIP program. Retention of School to the new year program will be an important metric to be driven.
3. Data-Driven Strategy
- Performance Analytics: Use data to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on test results. You must be able to look at a spreadsheet of marks and diagnose whether the issue is pedagogy, student engagement, or curriculum pacing.
- Reporting: Provide weekly executive summaries on program health, intervention strategies, and school-wise progress.
Candidate Requirements
- Subject Matter Expertise: You must have a background as a teacher for JEE or NEET. You cannot manage an academic program if you don't understand the rigor required to crack these exams.
- Domain Experience: Prior experience specifically in School Integrated Programs (SIP) is mandatory. You must understand the unique challenges of working within a school's timetable and culture.
- Data Command: High proficiency in data analysis. You should be comfortable with tools (Excel/BI) to track student cohorts and program metrics.
- Academic Passion: You are driven by learning outcomes, not just operational checklists. You should have a students first mindset that dictates every decision.
