Position: Associate Program Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven Associate program manager to
lead various initiatives under the BD Department at zingbus. This role requires strong ownership of
partner operations, strategic thinking, project planning, financial workflows, and cross-functional
collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring a systems-thinking approach, drive process excellence at
scale, and ensure high standards of accuracy, compliance, and partner satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Excellence
● Build structured frameworks for partner lifecycle management, from onboarding to retention
● Serve as the SPOC for partner-related matters concerning systems, payments, and
compliances
● Develop scalable mechanisms (e.g., connect programs, escalation frameworks) to improve
partner satisfaction
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, finance) to implement
partner-centric solutions
● Define, track, and optimize key partner experience metrics (NPS, retention, issue resolution
TAT, etc.)
● Identify systemic gaps in partner experience and lead initiatives to solve them through process
and product improvements
2. Payout Systems & Financial Governance
● Oversee end-to-end payout processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness
● Own payout architecture including reconciliation logic, summaries, and financial visibility
systems
● Design controls and drive automation of payout workflows (dashboards, summaries, payment
advice, etc.) to reduce manual dependencies
● Partner with finance and analytics to ensure accuracy and predictability in partner earnings
3. Cross-Functional Project management
● Drive prioritization and execution of cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with product,
finance, and analytics teams
● Design and implement scalable system improvements
● Develop dashboards, data models, and simulation frameworks to support decision-making
● Ensure consistency and integrity of data and business logic across systems
● Identify systemic gaps through data analysis and drive end-to-end solutions across product and
process layers
4. Departmental Compliance and Audit readiness
● Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards
● Oversee contract management, agreements, addendums, and documentation processes
● Drive standardization and digitization of contract and compliance processes for scalability and
audit readiness
● Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all partner-related records across systems
● Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on contractual and
regulatory requirements
5. Process Improvement & System Thinking
● Own identification of workflow gaps and design scalable, high-impact solutions to improve
efficiency and reliability
● Build, standardize, and continuously evolve SOPs across supply and partner operations to drive
consistency at scale
● Re-design processes to reduce manual dependencies and improve speed, accuracy, and
transparency
● Coordinate with partners through calls and in-person meetings to identify operational
bottlenecks and translate insights into clear, actionable system requirements.
● Ensure all processes are resilient, data-driven, and aligned with long-term business growth and
scalability
Requirements:
● Strong problem-solving ability with a structured, systems-thinking approach to ambiguous
business challenges
● High attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy across financial, operational, and data
workflows
● Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, large dataset handling)
● Strong ownership mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes, not just completing tasks
● Experience in driving cross-functional initiatives with clear prioritization, timelines, and
measurable outcomes
● Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse
stakeholders
● High learning agility with the ability to quickly grasp new business models, financial constructs,
and system logic
Preferred Qualifications
● 1–4 years of experience in program management, strategy or similar roles
● Prior experience in startups or B2B2C environments with high ambiguity and ownership
● Exposure to financial operations, reconciliation systems, or payout workflows
● Experience working with cross functional teams
● Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements or automation initiatives at scale
