Associate Professor- Ophthalmology

Qualifications:

• MBBS + MD/DNBin Ophthalmologywith minimum 3 years of expeience as an Assistant Professor in a recognised medical college

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations to assess and address their eye health concerns and medical history.
• Prepare detailed medical reports and maintain accurate records for each patient.
• Perform specialized diagnostic tests (e.g., visual acuity tests, OCT, fundoscopy) to identify eye conditions.
• Develop and recommend treatment plans for various ocular diseases and disorders.
• Collaborate with a patient's primary physician to ensure integrated care.
• Carry out thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients eyes.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for ophthalmic surgeries, ensuring optimal patient recovery.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage medications or treatments for eye conditions.
• Evaluate treatment progress and adjust care plans based on patient needs.
• Communicate daily with staff, including other specialists, administrative personnel, and healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
