Associate Professor of Computer & Computational Science

Area of Specialisation:

IoT, AI & ML, Data Science, Computer Vision.

Knowledge of tools and platforms such as Python, MATLAB, OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch, IoT frameworks, cloud platforms

Minimum Eligibility:

Master's degree in Computer Science / Computational Science / IoT /AI & ML.or allied disciplines

WithUGC-NET qualification.

Ph.D. in the relevant or allied discipline is preferred.

Eligibility conditions and terms of engagement shall be as per UGC norms and institutional regulations.

KRAs for Associate Professor:

- Teaching core and elective courses at the undergraduate level.

-Ability to teach courses in Computer Science, including papers related to IoT, Image Processing,

Computer Vision, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Data Science.

- Contribute to syllabus design and periodic revision aligned with NEP-2020.

-Student mentorship, academic advising, and supervision of field-based components.

- Participation in departmental and institutional academic activities

-Establish industry interaction for internships, live projects, expert lectures, and collaborative research.

-Support accreditation activities (AICTE), audits, and documentation.

-Develop IoT-based and vision-based real-time applications.

-Encourage student innovation, hackathons, and competitions.
