Teaching & Academic Duties
- Deliver lectures, studio sessions, and workshops in fashion design and related subjects
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments
- Mentor and guide students in academic and creative projects
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations/theses
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
Curriculum Development
- Design and revise curriculum to align with industry trends and academic standards
- Integrate emerging technologies and sustainable practices into coursework
Research & Publications
- Conduct scholarly research in fashion design or related areas
- Publish research papers in reputed journals and present at conferences
- Contribute to the academic reputation of the institution
Industry Engagement
- Maintain strong connections with the fashion industry
- Organize guest lectures, workshops, and industry visits
- Facilitate internships and placement opportunities for students
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees
- Assist in accreditation and quality assurance processes
- Contribute to institutional development activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of teaching and/or industry experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise
- Proven record of research and publications (preferred)
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
