Job Title: Associate Professor of Forensics Medicine

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and facilitate seminars on forensic medicine topics.
  • Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects.
  • Conduct original research leading to publications in reputable journals.
  • Develop and review course materials to align with current forensic standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions for interdisciplinary studies.
  • Participate in academic committees and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions for students and faculty on forensic techniques.
  • Evaluate and assess student performance through exams and assignments.
  • Stay current with advancements in forensic technology and methodologies.
  • Engage in public outreach and education on forensic science topics.
  • Provide expert consultation on forensic cases when required.
  • Foster a positive academic environment that encourages student engagement.
  • Conduct laboratory sessions and manage forensic labs effectively.
  • Participate in conferences and contribute to the academic community.
  • Maintain professional relationships with law enforcement agencies and legal professionals.

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent degree in Forensic Medicine.
  • PhD in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in an academic setting.
  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed forensic medicine journals.
  • Proven research capability with experience in grant writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of forensic science and legal regulations.
  • Experience in laboratory management and safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in education.
  • Knowledge of current trends and advancements in forensic science.
  • Understanding of ethical considerations in forensic practice.

Location:

This is an on-site position based in India, requiring full-time presence at the Devdort campus.
