Knowledge and Skills Required

  • A passionate commitment to ones discipline and the ability to transfer this enthusiasm to one's students.
  • Experience in and/or keenness towards Institution building activities.
  • Set a personal example to one's students through belief in ethics and values demonstrated through their regular practice.
  • A keen sense of enquiry to result in innovation with a view to create an impact.
  • A teacher-researcher (or vice-versa) with an openness to attain proficiency in the other area.
  • Well networked with proven track record of collaborations with institutes of excellence, research organizations and industries.
  • An academician with proven track record of high-end interdisciplinary research work.
  • Faith and commitment to an interdisciplinary approach to learning and teaching
  • Teaching and research experience in international universities is mandatory
  • Member/Fellow of International Society(s)
  • Well networked with respected senior academicians in one's area of interest both in India and abroad.
  • Excitement about research towards offering composite solutions to the industry.
  • Create and deliver globally relevant courses with emphasis on experiential learning.
  • An academician with excellent communication and articulation skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • Ph. D. post-doctoral research in computer science
  • Consistently good academic record with minimum 60% in M. Tech& B. Tech.
  • Over all 5+ years of teaching/research/industrial experience with substantial experience of working or association with world's top university/ institution
