About Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore - School of Engineering (SoE), invites applications for Associate Professor in Computer Science cluster (including CSE, AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.). Candidates must hold B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. exclusively in CS Engineering disciplines, with 10-15 years of relevant teaching/research/industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science specializations.
- Mentor students, supervise projects/theses, and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage in research, publish in reputed journals, and secure funded projects.
- Participate in academic administration, industry collaborations, and institutional activities.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or closely related engineering field (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of experience post-Ph.D., including at least 5 years at Assistant Professor level or equivalent.
- Strong record of publications, teaching excellence, and professional development activities.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in emerging areas like AI, ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, or Robotics.
- Experience with NBA/NAAC accreditation processes and grant funding.
