Role Description The Associate Professor at Coding Pro will design and deliver computer science curricula tailored for children, ensuring concepts are taught in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. This full-time, on-site role, based in Ahmedabad, involves conducting interactive classes, labs, and workshops, as well as mentoring learners to develop logical thinking, creativity, and confidence in coding. The Associate Professor will prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials, and will regularly evaluate student progress to adapt teaching methods and content. The role also includes collaborating with other faculty and curriculum designers to continuously improve course content, integrating new tools and technologies, and participating in parent interactions, academic events, and teacher training sessions.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in computer science or related fields, with the ability to explain core concepts (e.g., programming fundamentals, algorithms, problem-solving) to young learners.
  • Proven experience in teaching, training, or mentoring, preferably with children or early learners in STEM or computer science subjects.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and presentation skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive teaching approach.
  • Comfort with educational technology, coding platforms, and digital tools used for teaching programming to children.
  • Ability to design engaging curricula, activities, and projects that foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, take initiative, and contribute to academic and co-curricular activities on campus.
  • Openness to continuous learning, staying updated with trends in computer science education and child-centric pedagogies.
