Position Title:

1. Associate Professor in the departments of (1) Dravyaguna Vijnana, (2) Swasthvritta evam Yoga
2. Assistant Professor in the departments of (1) Shalakya Tantra & (2) Agad Tantra evam Vidhi

Primary Responsibilities

• Academic & Teaching
• Conduct undergraduate (BAMS) and postgraduate (MD/MS Ayurveda) teaching in the subject.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching modules, and academic content as per NCISM syllabus.
• Guide postgraduate and Ph.D. research scholars.
• Develop innovative teaching methodologies integrating traditional knowledge and modern pedagogy.

• Research & Publications
• Undertake research projects in Ayurveda and allied sciences.
• Publish quality research papers in peer-reviewed/indexed journals.
• Mentor PG/Ph.D. students in dissertation and thesis work.
• Collaborate with research bodies, councils, and funding agencies.

• Clinical / Practical Duties (for clinical subjects)
• Supervise patient care in the teaching hospital.
• Provide consultation and treatment in the concerned specialty.
• Ensure clinical exposure and practical training for students.

Minimum Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria (As per NCISM Norms)

• Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject from a recognized institution.
• Teaching Experience: 5 years of teaching experience in the concerned subject as an Assistant Professor in a recognized institution.
• Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in the concerned subject. Published research work in standard journals.

• Must possess a valid registration under a State or Central Register of Indian Medicine.
• Qualifications obtained through recognized universities or institutions only will be accepted.
• Experience must be from recognized Ayurveda colleges affiliated with a recognized university and approved by NCISM.
