Role Overview
As an
APM for Travel Products, you will champion a unique, high-impact product experience. Your mandate is two-fold: First, you will build and scale Niyo's premium
Travel Booking Concierge Desk, a hybrid AI-and-human service operating across WhatsApp, In-App Chat, and Call. Second, you will take absolute end-to-end ownership of at least one of the travel product verticals (e.g., Experiences, Cab Booking, Flights, Hotels, eSIM, Travel Insurance), driving everything from back-end supplier integrations to front-end Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Scale the Travel Concierge Desk
- Omnichannel Service Delivery: Build and Scale a premium travel concierge service across WhatsApp, in-app chat, and call channels to handle complex travel requests (itinerary planning, flights, hotels, eSIMs, and travel insurance etc).
- AI + Human Hybrid Routing: Build, scale, and optimize the internal routing engines and concierge agent tools. Design smart workflows where automated AI agents handle standard requests, while complex travel queries/requests are seamlessly handed off to human operators.
- Internal Tooling and User side Interface: Own the product roadmap for internal concierge operations agent tooling as well as for user side interface on app/whatsapp etc, ensuring the operations team has the platform capabilities required to process travel bookings at lightning speed. Example: User requesting on whatsapp chat to book a specific hotel, Ops team is able to book quickly through the internal tool, collect payment from user and share the booking with the user.
- End-to-End Product Ownership
- Full-Lifecycle Management: Own a specific travel product vertical from top to bottom, catering to both self-service DIY users and assisted concierge users.
- Supplier & API Integrations: Manage technical relationships and integrations with external travel suppliers, aggregators, and inventory partners.
- GTM & Marketing: Partner with marketing and growth teams to design and execute launch strategies, construct promotional campaigns, and drive user adoption.
- Funnel Optimization: Deeply analyze conversion funnels, identify user friction points, and relentlessly optimize the booking experience to maximize successful transactions.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Graduation from a premier Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is mandatory.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Product Management within a high-growth startup. Direct experience in Travel Tech. Building Internal Operator Tools/ Travel agent tools is a massive advantage but not a must.
- Execution & Lifecycle Ownership: Proven ability to not just build features, but to launch them (GTM), market them, and manage the commercial success of a product.
- Analytical Muscle: Strong quantitative skills. You should be comfortable navigating data and writing basic SQL queries to uncover funnel drops.
- First-Principles Thinking: Ability to break down highly complex operational workflows into clean, scalable product and automated AI solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You need to be equally comfortable debating API structures with engineers, negotiating with travel suppliers, and aligning with marketing on campaigns.
