About The Role

Purplle is building a highly scalable and data-driven supply chain to support its rapid growth in the beauty and personal care ecosystem. To enable this, we are strengthening the analytics and data foundation that supports inventory planning, replenishment, warehousing, and logistics decisions across the network. We are looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM) to own the data foundation that powers our entire supply chain network. This is a unique hybrid role that blends Product Management with Analytics Leadership. You will be the owner of the Supply Chain Analytics Strategy, build stable and scalable data layers, and lead a team of Business Analysts responsible for operational analytics and reporting. Your work will directly enable faster decision-making, streamline reporting, and provide the visibility needed to optimize our omnichannel supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Product Strategy & Architecture: Define the long-term roadmap for Supply Chain Analytics. You will focus on establishing stable, scalable data layers that support business growth. You will work towards designing data marts and structures that make analytics seamless for the business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts. You will own the delivery pipeline for the Business Analytics team and guide them in complex problem-solving, review their analysis, and help transition the team toward automated insight generation and advanced analytics.
  • Stakeholder & Delivery Pipeline Management: Manage the analytics delivery project pipeline efficiently. Collaborate with Inventory, Warehouse, Logistics and other Supply chain leaders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives based on business impact, and align with stakeholders on delivery timelines.
  • Execution & Automation: Author Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for data pipelines and dashboarding logics. Identify opportunities to convert operational reporting into automated product features or self-serve dashboards to save time and improve accuracy.
  • Analytics Enablement: Ensure that the data layers you build are accessible and usable. Drive the adoption of visualization tools and self-serve analytics within the supply chain team, enabling stakeholders to access insights independently.
  • KPI Ownership: Define and monitor the health of the analytics function. Key metrics include Data Availability, Automation % of reports, Turn-around-time (TAT) for analysis, Manhour Savings.

Desired Skills And Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, and/or operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is required to validate logic and effectively guide the analytics team.
  • Prior experience or demonstrated potential in mentoring analysts or leading small teams is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data to support recommendations and drive actions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders, balance priorities, and translate business needs into structured data requirements.

Preferred Backgrounds & Experience

  • Experience in contributing to Data Warehousing projects, Data Lakes, or BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI/Looker).
  • Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or E-commerce operations.
  • Experience in organizing complex data environments and creating structural stability.
