Job Description

The person will be responsible for creating and executing the product roadmap; will be responsible for gathering requirements, writing user stories/acceptance criteria and collaborating with the product and development teams to ensure business needs are translated to product requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement gathering/analysis for new features; collaborate with stakeholders/Product management team to clarify requirements around new feature request
  • Create user stories for development team to build a feature/functionality
  • Building and owning the product roadmap; ensure that product evolves to suit client needs by incorporating the client feedback as deemed fit
  • Co-ordinate with product owners/project managers across multiple other teams /squads to manage dependencies
  • Work with QA team to review test cases and define testing strategies; perform user acceptance testing/ business testing of new functionality
  • Collaborate with design team to provide feedback on feature design
  • Ensure the product development is done within operational excellence standards as defined by the program

Requirements:

  • Atleast 2-4 years of strong business analyst or product management experience
  • A bachelor s degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus
  • Knowledge of software development processes and agile methodologies is required
  • Experience within the financial services environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with Morningstar Products (example- Morningstar Direct) will be a plus
  • Understanding of various functions in asset management organization and user workflow will be a plus
  • Blend of product management and project management will be desired
