Job Description

As an Associate Product Manager at Freight Tiger, you will work closely with senior product managers and cross-functional teams to build and optimise features that solve real customer problems. You will be at the heart of product development, learning and growing through hands-on experience, and contributing to every aspect of the product lifecycle. You'll have the opportunity to shape products that impact thousands of customers, all while developing the skills to grow into a future product leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior PMs to help define and execute the product roadmap for Freight Tiger.
  • Be the voice of the customer - conduct research, gather feedback, and deeply understand user needs to inform product decisions and ensure a seamless, delightful user experience.
  • Work with design and engineering teams to help create and deliver product features that meet both user expectations and business objectives.
  • Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while ensuring that all product features align with quality standards.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, actively contributing to the team's success and learning from experienced team members.
  • Track product performance through data and customer feedback, helping identify areas for improvement and working with teams to iterate on solutions.
  • Learn best practices for product management, prioritisation, and cross-functional collaboration by observing and contributing to the product development process.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field (e.g., engineering, design, operations).
  • A strong passion for learning and growing in the product management field, with an eagerness to tackle new challenges.
  • A customer-first mindset, with a desire to understand user pain points and solve problems that improve the overall experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset to make data-driven decisions and assess the impact of product features.
  • A basic understanding of product management processes, such as writing user stories, defining MVPs, and tracking key product metrics.
  • Experience in logistics, SaaS, or fintech is a plus, but not required.

Cultural Fit:

  • You are naturally curious and constantly looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
  • You are excited about tackling customer challenges and turning them into valuable product solutions.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, eager to contribute to the success of the team while learning from others.
  • You are adaptable and comfortable in an environment where priorities can shift quickly, but you always maintain a focus on delivering high-quality products.
  • You're eager to take ownership of projects and see them through from start to finish, all while embracing the opportunity to grow into a senior product management role.
