Job Summary 

We are looking for an enthusiast who is passionate about building IoT-enabled products that connect the physical and digital worlds. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, QA, Customer Success, and Solutioning teams to deliver features that improve the customer experience across connected devices, gateways, cloud platforms, and web/mobile applications. 

Designation- Associate Product Manager (APM) - IoT & connected devices

Location- Bangalore

Responsibilities

1. Product Planning & Execution: Assist Product Manager with overall roadmap by owning your product line - Define product requirements, create PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, manage the product backlog, and drive feature delivery in an Agile environment 
2. Customer & Market Insights: Gather customer feedback, perform market and competitor analysis, identify product opportunities, and support feature prioritization based on customer and business impact.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, UX, QA, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to deliver intuitive, high-quality products and enable successful product launches.
4. IoT Product Development: Collaborate with engineering teams on connected devices, gateways, cloud platforms, and integrations involving protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, SNMP, and REST APIs.
5. Quality & Release Management: Plan and execute UAT, validate product functionality across web, mobile, and IoT deployments, and ensure release readiness through close coordination with QA.
6. AI & Product Innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance user experience, improve operational efficiency, and support the development of intelligent product capabilities.

Our ideal candidate 

1. has 0-2 years of experience in tech product management, has a strong product sense
2. Is from tech background (CS, Electrical, Mechatronics, Green energy, preferred), non MBA 
3. has understanding of IoT architecture, including gateways, sensors, controllers, cloud connectivity, and communication protocols. 
4. has knowledge of user experience best practices
5. has excellent teamwork, communication (written, spoken and presentation) skills 
6. has strong knowledge of B2B,  SaaS
7. is a creative thinker, problem solver and demonstrates high agency

Good to have: 

1. Certification, course or similar in Product Management
2. Prior internship/work experience in product company
3. Knowledge of IoT protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and REST APIs on a firmware/ embedded level
4. Knowledge on CMMS/ Building Management/ Energy Management domain will be a bonus
