Role Summary
The Kubernetes L3 Engineer will be responsible for the advanced management automation and troubleshooting of containerized infrastructures with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service AKS and Container Apps The role involves executing Infrastructure as Code IaC deployments managing CICD pipelines leading P1P2 calls and providing highlevel support for critical environments The engineer will ensure availability scalability and reliability across Kubernetes and cloud platforms while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring technical excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service AKS clusters Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads across environments
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues related to Kubernetes clusters networking ingress controllers and scheduling
- Implement and manage automation workflows through Terraform and other InfrastructureasCode frameworks
- Oversee CICD pipeline execution and integration using Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Lead and coordinate resolution during critical P1P2 incidents managing technical bridges and client communications
- Perform Kubernetes upgrades patching and configuration optimization to ensure reliability and compliance
- Collaborate with DevOps Cloud and Application teams to integrate container platforms with build and deployment processes
- Design and implement monitoring ing and logging solutions using Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Azure Monitor
- Apply cloudnative security practices and implement RBAC secrets management and compliance configurations
- Maintain and optimize resource utilization autoscaling and workload balancing within Kubernetes environments
- Document all operational processes technical designs and issue resolutions
- Mentor L1 and L2 teams on Kubernetes troubleshooting CICD integration and incident response
Required Skills Experience
- Strong handson experience with Kubernetes infrastructure administration including Azure Kubernetes Service AKS
- Good understanding of Azure Container Apps and other PaaS container orchestrations
- Proficiency in IaCwith Terraform and configuration management automation tools
- Indepth knowledge of CICD pipeline management using Jenkins Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Skilled in troubleshooting Kubernetes components such as pods services deployments and ingress controllers
- Expertise in Helm chart management and Kubernetes upgrades
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services like ACR VNetintegration network policies and managed identities
- Knowledge of container registry management image security scanning and deployment best practices
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana and integrations
- Proven ability to lead troubleshooting and resolution during P1P2 incidents with crossteam coordination
- Understanding of ITILbased operations change incident and problem management

Certifications Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related discipline
- Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer CKAD preferred
- Microsoft certifications like Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect desirable
- Terraform Associate certification or equivalent IaCexperience preferred
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage
