We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Principal, leading the SAP-QA Automation efforts within our Cloud Development - Delivery department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in our software testing practices. With a strong background in Software Testing, ETL Validation, and BI Quality Assurance, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring data integrity across complex enterprise environments. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into robust and efficient test strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in software testing practices.
- Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for SAP-related applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficient execution.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system requirements and design effective test strategies, including unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Develop and maintain a robust test environment, ensuring it aligns with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
- Perform thorough ETL validation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across various enterprise systems.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers, promoting high-quality coding practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP and QA Automation, and drive the adoption of best practices within the team.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into testable scenarios.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results, providing insights and recommendations to improve system performance and stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Proven expertise in SAP-related technologies and a strong understanding of SAP's testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and experience in data testing and validation.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
