Seeking an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant to lead finance transformation initiatives through requirement gathering solution design configuration testing and stakeholder engagement

Job Description

Act as the primary Functional Consultant for Workday Financials implementations and enhancements Conduct requirement gathering workshops and perform fitgap analysis with business stakeholders Translate business requirements into Workday Finance solutions and functional designs Configure and support Workday Financial modules and business processes Collaborate with Finance Accounting Procurement and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery Support data validation testing SITUAT defect resolution and production deployment activities Prepare functional specifications process flows and user documentation Provide postgolive support and drive continuous process improvements Ensure alignment with financial controls compliance and reporting requirements Utilize strong functional knowledge of General Ledger GL Accounts Payable AP Accounts Receivable AR Procurement Expenses Asset Management and Financial Reporting Leverage experience with Workday Financial Management configuration and integrations Apply expertise in finance and accounting processes requirement gathering solution design and stakeholder management Demonstrate excellent communication and business consulting skills Workday Financials certification is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead endtoend Workday Financials implementations and enhancement projects as the primary Functional Consultant

Facilitate workshops to gather and analyze business requirements performing fitgap analysis

Design and configure Workday Financial modules aligned with business needs

Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including Finance Accounting Procurement and IT

Manage testing phases including data validation SIT UAT and support defect resolution

Develop and maintain comprehensive functional documentation and process flows

Provide ongoing postimplementation support and identify opportunities for process optimization

Ensure all solutions adhere to financial controls compliance standards and reporting requirements

Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver effective financial system solutions
