Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate Performance Manager who owns full-funnel media strategy across Search, Display and Social, translating brand and commercial objectives into channel plans that drive quality leads, quote starts and policy conversions.

The ideal candidate pairs deep, hands-on performance marketing expertise with sharp analytical instincts, meticulous attention to detail and the confidence to lead day-to-day client communication. You are equally comfortable building a full-funnel media strategy from scratch and rolling up your sleeves in the numbers, and you bring genuine enthusiasm for test-and-learn ideas that keep the account ahead.

Note: Priority will be given to those available to start right away, though we welcome all applicants

Key Responsibilities

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop full-funnel paid media strategies across Search, Display and Social, aligned to brand and commercial objectives.
  • Translate business goals into integrated, channel-level media plans spanning upper-funnel awareness through to lower-funnel conversion.
  • Build audience strategies, budget allocation and channel-mix recommendations grounded in data.
  • Own quarterly and campaign-level media recommendations across product lines.
  • Maintain a structured, forward-looking test-and-learn roadmap with clear hypotheses, sound experiment design, and decisive reads on what to scale, iterate or cut.

Campaign Management & Optimisation

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign activation and optimisation across Search, Display and Social.
  • Guide specialists on campaign structure, audience segmentation, bidding and creative testing.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs daily and weekly, acting quickly on optimisation opportunities and pacing risks.
  • Ensure media investment delivers efficient, measurable business outcomes.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Lead weekly, monthly and campaign reporting, turning granular data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Interrogate the numbers with a keen eye for detail, spotting shifts in CPA, ROAS, conversion rate and pacing before they become issues.
  • Build performance narratives around customer behaviour, product performance and growth opportunities.
  • Track performance against agreed KPIs including:
  • Revenue
  • ROAS
  • CPA
  • Site Traffic
  • New Customer Acquisition
  • Reach & Frequency
  • Brand Lift metrics (where applicable)

Client Management

  • Serve as a confident day-to-day client lead, owning regular communication with client stakeholders.
  • Present media strategies, results and optimisation plans clearly and persuasively.
  • Manage expectations proactively and bring recommendations, not just reports.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across client and internal teams.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting and forecasting exercises.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with creative, strategy, analytics and platform partners to deliver campaign excellence.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication with a highly organised, detail-first approach.
  • Establish best practices, QA and governance across campaigns.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor executives and specialists within the team.
  • Review campaign setups, media plans and reporting outputs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity and continuous improvement.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members.

Requirements

  • 5 years of paid media experience within an agency environment.
  • Experience managing multi-market or regional accounts.
  • Experience managing both brand and performance objectives.
  • Proven track record delivering commercial results for retail, ecommerce, luxury or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and reporting platforms.
  • Experience working with analytics and attribution tools such as:
  • GA4
  • trong client-facing and presentation skills, with experience leading client communication.
  • A test-and-learn mindset with concrete examples of experiments you designed, ran and scaled.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and reporting platforms.
  • Experience with analytics and campaign tools such as:
  • GA4
  • Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • Tealium (advantageous)
