Associate Oracle Data Base Administrator

1.5 to 3 years Preference will be for those who have worked as Oracle DBA in Banking and Telecom Domain Oracle databases on Unix, Linux and Windows. Communication skill - should be able to collaborate in outage calls effectively Primary Responsibilities / Deliverables:

Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
Support RAC, Standby , RMAN data backup, OEM and database recovery
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
Database Patch Management and Version Control
Good understanding of the underlying operating system AIX/Sun/Linux and Windows
Sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning
Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required
Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
Familiarity with database design, documentation and shell/PLSQL scripting Other Responsibilities / Deliverables:
Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Patching on Standalone & RAC DB servers.
Upgrade Database version from lower to higher.
IP migration from hardening server to production server IP's.
Single instance database to Rac migration.
Cloning using duplicate & with service.
Application to DB connection activity.
Migration activities related to application on UAT & PRODUCTION.
Confirmation of 2 & 4 node RAC DB
Client Installation on application server.
Migrating data from production to Uat.
