About the Role
The Associate Operations Specialist – Credit Card Operations will support the end-to-end operations of the credit card business, covering pre-issuance, post-issuance, authorizations, payments, disputes, and project UAT testing. The role involves managing card fulfillment, inventory, dispatch, servicing, transaction monitoring, statement generation, settlements, chargebacks, and ensuring compliance with scheme and regulatory requirements. The specialist will also contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and turnaround time (TAT).
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and support credit card operations across the full lifecycle, including pre-issuance, post-issuance, authorizations, payments, and disputes.
- Focus on automation and digitization to improve process efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and TAT.
- Take initiative and recommend best practices to enhance operational processes.
- Ensure end-to-end implementation of projects, including quality UAT, alignment with business requirements, and smooth transitions.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to evaluate and implement new technologies and identify strategic opportunities.
- Conduct periodic self-audits and maintain quality checks and controls to ensure compliance.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for automation initiatives.
- Participate in UAT for new system requirements or modifications to existing functionalities.
- Manage reporting and dashboard activities.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in credit card operations or related functions.
Skills and Attributes
- Prior experience in credit card operations is essential.
- Strong focus on automation, digitization, and process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage UAT and project implementation effectively.
- Proficiency in preparing BRDs and managing reporting tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining operational quality and compliance.
