Job Description

This is an entry-level role within the EFS operations team, focused on executing routine financial transactions with accuracy and consistency. The Associate is responsible for validating inputs, processing data as per defined procedures, and supporting basic issue resolution under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
  • Verify invoice accuracy, including amounts, dates, and approval documentation
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and files
  • Respond to basic vendor inquiries regarding payments and invoices
  • Follow company policies and internal controls
  • Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Skills & Expertise:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative mindset with an initiative-taking approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP systems is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

Experience

  • 0-1 years of accounting experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
