Key Responsibilities
- Plan and design network configurations and architecture.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Develop and document network configurations, layouts, and processes.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure network systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding network-related issues.
- Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to protect the organization's data.
- Regularly review and update security protocols to comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Analyze network performance and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement. 10. Recommend and implement enhancements to increase reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Work with other IT professionals to integrate network solutions with existing systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions.
