Role Overview

As an Associate in our Accounting Department, you will support core accounting and finance operations, including account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities. You will work closely with senior finance team members and cross-functional stakeholders, including Korean-speaking stakeholders.

This role provides an opportunity to build hands-on experience in financial operations, internal controls, and reporting processes while developing strong technical accounting and practical finance skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations (Acc Recs) including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain and manage General Ledger (GL) accounting, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions
• Support and execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
• Review and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense transactions
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties (including Korean-speaking counterparts) to gather financial information and clarify accounting matters
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit
• Experience with GL accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes preferred
• Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP) is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Experience working with ERP systems is an advantage
• Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) is mandatory
