Responsibilities
- Review and summarize applicant's medical information such as Attending Physician Statements, lab reports, paramed exams, and other related medical claim information consistent with the company's standards.
- Provide clear file documentation to support the onshore Claims team.
- Consult available resources including technical documentation, updates, co-workers, and trainers to perform daily tasks and meet performance targets as per the training plan.
- Improve personal efficiency that positively impacts work, environment, and improvement of skills.
- Develop partnerships among peers and those supported to increase ownership of work and sustain an efficient process.
- Perform other job-related duties, processes within the BU, or special projects as required or assigned by an outstanding manager.
- Work on multiple products effectively, meeting required efficiency and accuracy targets for each product.
- Partner with HO counterparts, trainers, SMEs, and associates for effective sharing of guidelines.
- Handle extra responsibilities such as reviews, performance tracking, team bonding events, training, and on-floor support for query resolution.
- Improve efficiencies by submitting Operational Excellence ideas.
Shift timings - During the training period of 3 to 4 months, it will be pure night shift(5.30 to 2.30 AM IST)
, the individual needs to be working 5 days in office.
Once the training is completed, it will be afternoon shift (1.30 to 10.30 PM IST) hybrid model (3 days WFO & 2 days WFH)
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in medicine preferred (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, etc.).
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in back office roles with domain knowledge of Life and Health Insurance (Individual & Group Insurance).
- Typing test – 35-40 Wpm (Numeric) with 99% accuracy.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and good analytical skills.
- Medical coding-related certification and experience will be an addon.
