We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns to promote our product and brand. Your primary responsibilities will include managing cross-channel marketing initiatives, handling content creation, and optimizing our customers experience with the product. Additionally, you will need to possess a general understanding of growth principles and demonstrate strong business acumen.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and drive customer acquisition and retention
- Implement brand marketing initiatives such as industry memberships, events, conferences, and PR to help drive inbound traffic.
- Oversee the creation of marketing material for both offline and online activities.
- Utilize various marketing channels, such as email, WhatsApp, social media, push notifications and other in-app tools, to reach and engage target audiences.
- Manage and optimize ad campaigns on Facebook and Google, including budget allocation, targeting, bidding, and creative testing.
- Analyze customer behavior on the app, gather feedback, and suggest improvements to the product experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as creative, analytics, customer success, product development and sales, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors, as necessary, to support marketing initiatives.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product and target market, enabling you to effectively communicate its value proposition to potential customers.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, from a reputed institution.
- Proven experience of 2 to 4 years in customer/product/growth marketing, preferably of scaling up within a high-growth startup.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
- Familiarity, or be willing to learn, working with marketing automation tools like CleverTap and other tools relevant for the role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ideating and running successful ad campaigns on Meta and Google Ads, with a track record of achieving measurable results, would be good to have
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and best practices, including digital marketing strategies, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) for business success.
- Experience of working with an mobile app-based product, especially in the fintech space, would be an added advantage.
