Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Associate – Market Research (Freelancer) to support our research and data initiatives. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and structuring market intelligence to generate actionable insights and support business and AI-driven use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary research across industries, markets, and companies
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources
- Prepare structured reports, summaries, and insights
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Validate and ensure accuracy and reliability of research data
- Support creation of high-quality datasets for AI and business applications
- Collaborate with internal teams on research requirements and deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in market research, business research, or related roles
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for data handling
- Excellent research and information-gathering abilities
- Strong written communication skills for summarizing insights
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good to Have:
- Exposure to tools/databases (Statista, IBISWorld, Crunchbase, etc.)
- Basic understanding of business, economics, or industry analysis
- Experience in consulting, research, or data-related roles
- Familiarity with structuring data for analysis or AI use cases
