Associate Manager – SEO

Search today is no longer limited to rankings. Businesses are being recommended directly by systems like Google AI, ChatGPT, and voice assistants. This shift requires a stronger foundation across technical SEO, local presence, structured data, content clarity, and trust signals.

As an Associate Manager – SEO, you will work on building and maintaining these signals at scale — ensuring our customers are not just visible, but recommended.

• Audit and improve crawlability, indexing, and site structure
• Implement on-page SEO improvements (metadata, headings, internal linking)
• Work on structured data (schema: LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, etc.)
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with developer teams for fixes
• Ensure websites meet performance and usability benchmarks

• Optimize Google Business Profiles (categories, services, posts, Q&A)
• Maintain NAP consistency across directories and citations
• Improve visibility in local search and maps
• Support review monitoring and response strategy

• Structure content so it can be understood and surfaced by AI systems
• Implement FAQ schema, entity signals, and structured content formats
• Optimize for voice search and conversational queries
• Support geo-targeted content and multi-location presence where required

• Identify opportunities to improve conversions
• Work with design and content teams to enhance user journeys

• Work closely and collaborate with:
  • Website teams
  • Content teams
  • Social teams
  • PPC team

• Comfortable working at the intersection of search, content, and websites
• Strong in identifying issues and driving them to resolution
• Practical in approach — focused on what works, not theory
• Able to manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously
• Clear in communication with both technical and non-technical teams

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SEO (with exposure to local SEO)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Technical SEO fundamentals
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • NAP and citation consistency
  • Structured data (schema)
• Experience working with website teams (developers/designers)
• Ability to perform keyword research and guide content creation
• Familiarity with tools like:
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics
  • Ahrefs / SEMrush
  • Screaming Frog
• Experience working on U.S. or similar markets

• Exposure to AEO concepts (AI answers, featured snippets, voice search)
• Understanding of GEO signals and location-based optimization
• Basic knowledge of PPC and its interaction with SEO
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
• Understanding of conversion funnels and CRO

• Work on search visibility at scale for SMBs across the U.S.
• Be part of a system that combines SEO, local presence, and AI-driven discovery
• Collaborate across web, content, and marketing teams
• Grow in a role that is evolving with how search itself is changing
