Associate Manager - SAP-SAP CPI DS

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager – SAP CPI‑DS to drive complex integration solutions across SAP IBP, ECC/S/4HANA, APO and various data platforms. The role involves leading design workshops, managing full‑cycle implementation projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high‑quality results under aggressive timelines while traveling globally to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops with business and IT stakeholders to define CI‑DS integration architecture.
• Manage end‑to‑end CI‑DS implementation projects (minimum 4) from blueprint to production.
• Develop complex CI‑DS tasks for data exchange between IBP and ECC/S/4HANA, APO, HANA DB, flat files, etc.
• Configure pre‑scripts, post‑scripts, scheduling, and administration of CI‑DS jobs.
• Set up CI‑DS agents, connections, and ensure seamless integration with RFC function modules.
• Provide functional expertise on IBP (Demand, SOP, Inventory, Response & Supply) and S/4HANA integration.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers to support custom extractors and CDS/OData requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery under aggressive timelines and manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Travel globally (short‑term/long‑term) to client sites for implementation and support.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP integration experience, with at least 4 years in SAP CPI‑DS.
• Minimum of 4 full lifecycle CI‑DS implementation projects delivered.
• Deep expertise in CI‑DS, IBP functional modules, and integration with ECC/S/4HANA, APO.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑scripts, post‑scripts, RFC‑based integration, and XML data formats.
• Proficiency in ABAP, CDS views, OData (plus), and CI working knowledge (plus).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage aggressive timelines.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short‑notice assignments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
