Job Description
As an Associate Manager in the SAP Modernization - Delivery department, you will play a crucial role in guiding and executing SAP system transformations. Your primary focus will be on leading ECC to S/4HANA conversions, utilizing your expertise in DMO (Database Migration Option), OS/DB migrations, and Unicode conversions. This role is integral to the company's digital transformation journey, ensuring efficient and effective SAP system upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Oversee DMO activities, OS/DB migrations, and Unicode conversions, providing technical expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align conversion strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure data integrity and security during migration processes, implementing best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the SAP-BASIS team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement.
- Document and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Participate in client engagements, presenting conversion strategies and roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP-BASIS administration, with a focus on ECC to S/4HANA conversions.
- In-depth knowledge of DMO, OS/DB migrations, and Unicode conversions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities for complex SAP issues.
- Familiarity with SAP's latest technologies and trends is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP-BASIS administration or related fields are an advantage.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry best practices and continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
