Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken
Provide safety training to all employees and contractors, emphasizing best practices and emergency procedures
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation to meet legal requirements and internal standards
Collaborate with management to address safety concerns, develop improvement plans, and monitor their implementation
Participate in safety audits and liaise with external safety regulators as required
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve safety standards
