Plant Overview – Ringus (Copper Division)
Our Ringus plant is a high-capacity copper recycling and manufacturing facility with an installed production capacity of approximately 12,000 metric tons per annum.
The plant is focused on sustainable copper recycling, converting scrap and raw materials into high-quality finished copper products through advanced processing techniques.
With an estimated annual turnover of - INR 1,000 Crore, the facility plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, resource efficiency, and contributing to Attero's circular economy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop long-term and short-term production plans in line with sales demand and plant capacity.
- Metal Balance & Tracking: Monitor the material balance across the smelter, refinery, and continuous cast rod (CCR) plants, ensuring minimal losses.
- Inventory Management: Manage day-to-day inventory, tracking raw material (concentrate/scrap) levels, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to prevent bottlenecks.
- SAP/ERP Utilization: Utilize SAP (PP Module, S4HANA) for production orders, material requirement planning (MRP), and data analysis.
- Process Efficiency: Analyze plant KPIs (OEE, cycle time, takt time) to improve throughput and minimize waste.
- Coordination: Act as a central link between Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales departments.
- Reporting: Prepare daily/monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and labor laws.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline
- 5–8 years of experience in production planning, liaisoning, and 5S implementation within a manufacturing setup
- Mandatory experience in the copper industry (smelter, refinery, or CCR operations preferred)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end production planning, metal balance, and inventory management
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems (preferably SAP PP module / S4HANA)
- Good knowledge of plant KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, and takt time
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills (MIS, dashboards, variance analysis)
- Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments
