Job Description: Associate Manager- P&L
Work Experience: 5-12 years in Accounts & finance
You Will
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & P&L professional to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and Profit & Loss analysis. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, cost control, budgeting support, and periodic P&L reviews to drive business profitability.
To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To
Accounting & Finance
- Maintain books of accounts including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliances
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Manage invoices, payments, receipts, and expense accounting
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings
P&L & Financial Analysis
- Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements
- Track cost centers, margins, and variances against budgets
- Monitor operating expenses and suggest cost-optimization measures
- Support pricing, costing, and margin analysis
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning
Reporting & Controls
- Prepare MIS reports for management review
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial discipline
- Support leadership with financial insights for decision-making
You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com
- 5-12 years of experience in Accounts & P&L management
- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Experience with ERP systems (Tally / SAP / Oracle / Zoho Books)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Good knowledge of Indian taxation & compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Ownership mindset and confidentiality
