Job Purpose: Supervisor - Stevedoring is responsible for supervising the day-to-day stevedoring activities, ensuring that cargo is handled safely and efficiently. This role supports the Line Manager and Shift In Charge by directly overseeing the operational execution on the ground and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure Customer Satisfaction & Data entry is Credible and all issues pertaining to port documentation process lists are 100% accurate.
To comply with all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Supply chain security management systems.
Unsafe Act/ Unsafe condition near miss reporting by self and subordinates.
Responsible for all backup documentation cell activities and Improve processes of documentation cell and ensure better service.
Monitoring and ensuring the timely processing of Vendor/contractor bills.
Compiling and preparing of monthly MIS and daily reports regarding cargo stock position and cargo dispatch and arrival and vessel operations and reporting to the commodity in charge, HOD, Port Operation Center and Invoice Billing Center.
Administrative management Dry Cargo Store activities and Client wise and commodity wise and Grade wise Fertilizer cargoes empty bags reconciliation and yearly closing of book stocks.
Vessel wise, Commodity wise, Client Wise reconciliation and yearly closing of book stocks of all dry cargo commodities.
Monitoring, up gradation and effective utilization APMS / IPOS, Mercury and SAP for smooth cargo movement and data analysis.

Ensure that dry cargo vessels are marked VWC (Vessel Work Completion) in APMS/IPOS within 24 hrs.

Ensure accurate and timely data entries in APMS are done for smooth movement of cargoes.

Ensure proper stock position of cargoes in APMS.

To do rollback of wrong entries with the approval of the concern authorities in APMS (Rollback) and ensure correct entries are to be done timely.

Follow up with surveyors and ensure the receipt of the destination reports of the rakes dispatched from Mundra Port within 15 days of the dispatch date.

Liaison with Vessel Agents, CHA, Transporters, Clients, Various Govt. Officials (such as Central and state Fertilizer Inspectors, Stamp Duty Officers).

Coordinate with IT and POWER BI team for various ongoing projects like power bi dashboard for dry cargo resources, BRM presentation etc..

Preparing of NFAs, PRs for various projects and materials requirement and follow up with concern for getting them approved and forward to concern dept. for further actions.

Monitoring of CAPEX projects status and entries update in AIM of dry cargo projects.

Handling and providing data and information to internal and external auditors, IMS auditors, Client's auditors and ensure implementation of 7s in the documentation section.
