  • Asset Performance & Availability Management
  • Monitor turbine availability, generation, PLF, loss analysis, and reliability parameters across wind assets.
  • Track SCADA data, KPI dashboards, and performance trends to proactively identify degradation or underperformance.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for repetitive failures, underperformance, and high downtime turbines.
  • Drive improvement actions in collaboration with field O&M, engineering, and OEM design teams.
  • Ensure compliance with O&M contracts, SLAs, availability guarantees, and performance warranties.
  • Track contractual KPIs, LD risk exposure, incentive/penalty mechanisms.
  • Support claim management, dispute resolution, and contract renewals/extensions.
  • Act as commercial SPOC for customers on asset performance and contractual commitments.
  • Optimize lifecycle O&M cost (LCOE impact) through predictive maintenance and optimized preventive schedules.
  • Drive spares forecasting, critical component strategy, refurbishment vs replacement decisions.
  • Coordinate with SCM and manufacturing for spare availability, lead time reduction, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with OEM engineering teams on:
    • Failure mode analysis (FMEA)
    • Design improvements
    • Reliability growth initiatives
  • Support fleet-wide technical campaigns, retrofits, and upgrades.
  • Ensure adoption of best-in-class O&M practices, predictive analytics, and condition monitoring tools.
  • Track O&M cost budgets, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Support billing, revenue assurance, and customer invoicing related to O&M contracts.
  • Evaluate asset repowering, life-extension, and performance improvement opportunities from a financial lens.
  • Serve as the primary asset management interface for customers.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly performance review reports.
  • Handle escalations related to asset performance, downtime, and contractual issues.
  • Coordinate with site teams, regional heads, engineering, finance, and legal.
  • Drive use of digital asset management systems, SCADA analytics, AI/ML-based monitoring tools.
  • Improve reporting accuracy using Power BI / advanced dashboards.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across O&M operations.
  • Identify technical, commercial, and operational risks impacting asset performance.
  • Support HSE compliance from an asset reliability standpoint.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory, grid, and OEM compliance requirements.
Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Renewable Energy

Experience

  • 812 years of experience in Wind O&M / Asset Management / Reliability Engineering
  • Strong exposure to OEM or large IPP-side wind portfolios
