The Media Ant is a 13-year-old platform for media discovery, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns. We aim to disrupt the traditional process of executing ad campaigns through a physical media agency and replace it with a self-serve advertising platform. Job Experience Required: 2+ years

Role Overview:

The Media Planning Associate will be responsible for independently managing media planning and execution support for assigned clients. The role requires a strong balance of analytical thinking, client communication, and cross-team coordination to deliver effective and insight-led media solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Understand client business objectives and translate them into structured media recommendations
  2. Create and manage media plans using internal tools, Excel, and presentations
  3. Analyze data related to audiences, performance, pricing, and trends to support planning decisions
  4. Handle client communication, queries, feedback, and revisions in a clear and professional manner
  5. Collaborate with sales, operations, and execution teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery
  6. Conduct market, category, and competitor research to identify opportunities and insights
  7. Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions with well-reasoned recommendations
  8. Support post-campaign analysis and learning documentation.

  1. Media plan creation and updates
  2. Data analysis and insight generation
  3. Client coordination and presentations
  4. Internal stakeholder alignment
  5. Managing timelines, accuracy, and quality of outputs

Must-Have:

  1. 2+ years of experience in client-facing, analytical, or consulting roles
  2. Hands-on experience working with data, reports, dashboards, or performance metrics
  3. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Sheets & Slides
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure problems and draw insights
  5. Excellent communication skills comfortable presenting ideas and recommendations
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
