Role Summary: Responsible for complete Master Data Management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.- Ensure accurate, clean, and structured data across all modules.- Handle end-to-end setup and configuration related to masters.
Key Responsibilities
- Master Creation & Maintenance
- Item Master (SKU, UOM, variants, pricing)- Customer and Vendor Masters- Tax Master (GST, HSN/SAC, tax groups)- General Ledger (GL) Accounts- Location & Warehouse setup- Posting Groups (Customer, Vendor, Inventory, General)- Number Series
- System Setup & Configuration
- General Posting Setup- GST / VAT Posting Setup- Inventory Setup & Costing- Dimensions & Financial Structure- Approval Workflows (if required)
- Data Quality & Governance
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency while avoiding duplication.- Maintain standard data formats.- Perform regular data validation and audits.
- Business Coordination
- Coordinate with the Finance team for GL & Tax setup.- Coordinate with SCM/Warehouse for Item & Location details.- Coordinate with the Sales team for Customer masters.- Translate business requirements into master configurations.
