Job Title: Associate Manager

Reports to: Marketing Head - LWS India

Objective As the Associate Manager Marketing (Regional Promotions), you will be responsible for planning and executing regional marketing campaigns across different states of India to drive brand awareness and generate qualified leads for channel partners.

The role focuses on utilizing local media such as newspapers, hoardings, local radio, and collaborations with regional influencers to strengthen brand visibility and support the sales and dealer network in key markets.

Key Responsibilities / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute regional marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and brand strategy across assigned states and cities.
  • Develop and implement media plans using newspapers, outdoor hoardings, local radio channels, and on-ground activations to build strong local presence.
  • Create and run localized campaigns focused on lead generation for channel partners, dealers, and key specifiers (architects, builders, contractors).
  • Collaborate with local influencers, RWAs, community platforms, and regional content creators to enhance brand reach and engagement.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for creative development, media buying, printing, fabrication, and installation of all regional collaterals.
  • Ensure all regional branding and communication strictly follow Lixil brand guidelines and positioning.
  • Work closely with the sales and channel teams to understand market requirements and align regional promotions with sales and lead-generation goals.
  • Track leads generated from each campaign, share them with relevant channel partners, and follow up with sales teams on lead status and conversion.
  • Provide regular marketing MIS, dashboards, and campaign performance reports to management including leads, traffic, enquiries, and cost per lead.
  • Monitor competitor activities in local markets (hoardings, print, radio, local events) and share insights for pricing, positioning, and media choices.
  • Support planning and execution of dealer meets, store launches, site branding, and local events to drive footfalls and enquiries.
  • Manage and optimize regional marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of funds across states, media, and partners.
  • Work closely with the central marketing team to localize national campaigns and ensure consistency in messaging while adapting to regional nuances.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media houses, agencies, influencers, and key local stakeholders to secure better visibility and negotiation terms.

Key Relationships and Communication

  • External Channel Partners, Dealers, Distributors, Local Advertising Agencies, Printers, Fabricators, Newspaper & Radio Media, Local Influencers, Event Organizers
  • Internal Sales & Business Development, Central Marketing, Technical Support.

Work Conditions

  • 57 years of hands-on experience in regional/offline marketing, BTL activations, or trade/channel marketing, preferably in building materials, consumer durables, or related industries.
  • Graduate in Marketing/Business; MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • Strong experience in working with local media (print, outdoor, radio), agencies, and vendors across different states.
  • Proven track record in executing regional campaigns focused on brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to markets, partner locations, and campaign sites for planning, execution, and audits.
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and vendor management skills with ability to manage multiple regions and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and preferably one or more regional languages.
