JD | Legal Team | Regulatory and Product Advisory
Responsibilities:
- Advise business teams on the legal and regulatory framework applicable to Moneyview's existing and new products, including structuring of new product and technology initiatives.
- Provide guidance on regulatory matters relevant to the BFSI sector, including data protection, privacy, and information security.
- Assist with implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and related requirements including data mapping, consent frameworks, and stakeholder training.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with business partners (partner agreements with financial institutions, sourcing / referral agreements and technology vendor contracts).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and negotiate with external stakeholders, including consultants, advisors, and external counsel, to effectively manage multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- Law degree from a recognised, well-ranked university.
- Between 2-4 years of relevant PQE.
- Experience in legal drafting, research, and negotiation of commercial contracts.
- Experience working with the fintech / TMT practice at a corporate law firm and / or as in-house counsel in a fintech is preferred.
