Job Requirements

Role Purpose

We are looking for a highly accountable and proactive professional to own and lead the end-to-end operations, governance, risk controls, data, dashboards, and reporting for the Learning & Development function.

This role acts as the backbone of L&D, ensuring that learning operations run seamlessly, data is accurate and defensible, governance is strong, and leadership receives reliable insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • L&D Operations Ownership
  • Own day-to-day L&D operations across classroom, digital, blended and certification programs.
  • Ensure seamless execution of learning programs with minimal dependency and follow-ups.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for operational efficiency within L&D.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Design, implement and continuously strengthen L&D governance frameworks, SOPs and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, regulatory expectations and data standards.
  • Proactively identify operational, data, and reporting risks and implement preventive controls.
  • Manage exception handling with proper documentation and approvals.
  • SOPs & Process Excellence
  • Create, document and maintain clear SOPs for all L&D processes (program execution, LMS operations, reporting, vendor management, certifications, etc.).
  • Drive standardisation and simplification of processes across businesses and geographies.
  • Periodically review and audit SOP adherence and recommend improvements.
  • LMS, Dashboards & Reporting
  • Own LMS operations including configurations, program setup, assignments, tracking, completion, certifications and data integrity.
  • Design and manage L&D dashboards for leadership covering participation, learning hours, compliance, ageing, effectiveness and exceptions.
  • Ensure 100% data accuracy, consistent definitions and timely reporting.
  • Respond to leadership and audit data requests with speed, clarity and confidence.
  • Data Analytics & Insights
  • Convert L&D data into meaningful insights and trends for leadership consumption.
  • Track key metrics such as learning hours, coverage, compliance, program effectiveness and business-wise adoption.
  • Highlight risks, gaps and action items proactivelybefore they escalate.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, business teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assertively manage timelines, dependencies and expectations.
  • Escalate risks and slippages with facts and data, not assumptions.
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation and system-driven controls in L&D operations.
  • Drive process improvements that reduce manual effort, errors and rework.
  • Build scalable systems that can sustain growth and increasing learning volumes.

  • Experience in HR / L&D operations in BFSI or large enterprise environments (preferred
