The Role
Zeno is looking for a hands-on, execution-driven HR Generalist to support end-to-end people operations across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance, and Business Partnering.
This role will be critical in setting up and scaling HR systems and processes for our manufacturing and factory operations, ensuring compliance, workforce efficiency, and a strong employee experience in a fast-growing e-mobility organization.
You will work closely with business leaders, plant teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive people outcomes aligned with operational goals.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition (TA)
- Drive end-to-end hiring for factory and corporate roles, with a strong focus on shop-floor and technical hiring
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and build robust talent pipelines
- Ensure efficient recruitment processes with strong candidate experience and quick turnaround times
HR Operations
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR systems
- Build scalable HR processes and SOPs for factory operations
Payroll & Benefits
- Oversee end-to-end payroll inputs, validations, and coordination with vendors
- Ensure accuracy in attendance, shift data, overtime, and statutory deductions
- Support benefits administration and employee queries
Compliance & Statutory
- Ensure adherence to all labour laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, Factory Act, etc.)
- Maintain statutory records, registers, and audit readiness
- Liaise with government authorities and support inspections
HR Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted partner to factory and business leaders
- Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
- Support performance management, productivity initiatives, and workforce planning
- Enable a strong culture of accountability, safety, and performance on the shop floor
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)
- 3–6 years of HR experience with strong exposure to manufacturing or factory environments (mandatory)
- Experience in Automotive OEMs or related industries (preferred)
- Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory compliance, and factory HR practices
- Hands-on experience in payroll processes and HR operations
- Proven ability to manage shop-floor workforce dynamics
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and scaling environment
