Overview

UK SG&A Finance Assoc Analyst


Responsibilities

The SG&A Finance Assoc Analyst will support the General & Administrative (G&A) finance function through month-end close, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities. The role includes preparing and posting journal entries, managing investment accruals, supporting period-end close activities, and performing reconciliations across financial systems such as SAP, TM1, and Hyperion to ensure data accuracy. The analyst will also support forecasting cycles by managing PAX uploads, forecast adjustments, and coordinating alignment with relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include conducting variance and seasonality analysis, maintaining financial and IR reporting files (PY vs PPF vs AOP), supporting balance sheet reconciliations and review calls, and performing GRIR and cost center reviews. In addition, the role involves running and troubleshooting Alteryx workflows, managing intercompany cross-charges, maintaining process trackers, reviewing VIM approvals, participating in team and stakeholder calls, and supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests. The position works closely with finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to maintain strong financial controls, streamline processes, and support timely reporting and operational insights.


Qualifications

  • CA (Chartered Accountant) with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Semi-qualified CA with 7-8 years of relevant experience, or
  • MBA in Finance with 6-8 years of experience in Finance/FP&A/Accounting roles.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, financial analysis, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise finance systems such as SAP, Hyperion (HFM), and TM1.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis, with the ability to manage multiple reporting and planning tasks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
