Lead and manage civil engineering activities for power and energy projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget while meeting technical specifications and safety standards.
Develop and review detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and project plans in collaboration with design teams, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Adani's quality benchmarks.
Plan, schedule, and supervise on-site civil construction work including excavation, concrete work, structural steel erection, roadways, drainage systems, and ancillary infrastructure.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as electrical, mechanical, procurement, and project management to ensure seamless integration of civil works with other project components.
Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms, timelines, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures; lead site inspections and audits.
Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues related to construction execution, material availability, or environmental compliance and develop mitigation plans.
Manage procurement of civil materials and equipment, negotiating with vendors and suppliers to optimize cost and maintain project timelines.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety policies by conducting regular site safety reviews and promoting a culture of safety-first among team members and contractors.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Mentor and coach junior engineers and site staff, fostering skill development and enhancing team productivity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending best practices and innovative solutions.
Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community representatives to facilitate smooth project execution and uphold Adani's commitment to social responsibility.

Qualifications
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute - Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is preferred
Certification Required
Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is advantageous - Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is desirable - Safety certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH will be an added advantage
