About the Team

The Finance Controllership team at Navi is responsible for overseeing and managing the

company's financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and

compliance with regulatory standards. The team manages day-to-day accounting

operations, monitors financial health, and drives initiatives to enhance financial

performance and transparency.

About the Role

As part of the Accounts Payable team, you will lead the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. You'll play a key role in driving compliance with TDS and GST regulations, improving operational workflows, and supporting financial audits and month-end close processes. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, work cross-functionally, and contribute to automation initiatives that enhance the procure-to-pay cycle.

Key Responsibilities

● Invoice validation: Ensure 100% accuracy in invoice validation/approvals, including GST, TDS,

and duplicate checks.

● Payment processing: Oversee timely and error-free vendor payments as per due dates and

approval hierarchy.

● Vendor reconciliation: Conduct periodic vendor reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and

maintain ledger accuracy.

● Audit support: Handle internal and external audit requirements with complete

documentation and prompt responses.

● Month-end closure: Ensure all payables, accruals, and provisions are accurately booked

before closure.

● Stakeholder management: Coordinate effectively with Procurement, Treasury, and Business

teams for issue resolution.

● Process improvement: Drive automation and control enhancements in the procure-to-pay

process.

● Credit card accounting: Oversee reconciliation and timely accounting of corporate card

transactions.

Must Haves

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2 to 6 years of experience in

Accounts Payable operations.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles, TDS, and GST compliance.

● Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Clear, professional, and effective communication skills..

● Process-oriented mindset with focus on automation and efficiency.
