About the Team New Initiatives & Strategy

The New Initiatives & Strategy team at Rapido functions as a startup within the company identifying, building, and scaling new business lines that diversify and strengthen Rapido's ecosystem. Ads Monetisation is a key strategic vertical within this charter, focused on unlocking new revenue opportunities through in-app advertising, partnerships, and innovative engagement formats.

About the Role

We are looking for a Associate Manager Ads Monetisation to drive strategic initiatives, data-backed decision-making, and product-led monetisation experiments across Rapido's app ecosystem.

This is an execution-driven yet strategic role, sitting at the intersection of business, product, and data. The ideal candidate will combine analytical thinking, market awareness, and executional agility to accelerate Rapido's advertising business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monetisation Strategy & Planning

  • Support the definition and execution of Rapido's ads monetisation roadmap across app surfaces and user journeys.
  • Identify and evaluate new ad formats, placements, and engagement opportunities that drive incremental revenue.
  • Build frameworks for opportunity sizing, revenue forecasting, and prioritisation.
  • Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to convert business hypotheses into scalable ad experiences.

2. Product Experimentation & Execution

  • Partner with Product teams to prototype and test new ad units, placements, and creative integrations.
  • Analyse experiment outcomes to measure impact on user engagement, retention, and monetisation.
  • Translate learnings into product or configuration improvements to optimise performance. 3. Data-Driven Insights & Business Analytics
  • Analyse user journeys and behavioural data to uncover monetisation opportunities across ride stages.
  • Develop and maintain key performance trackers to evaluate ad performance and business impact.
  • Provide actionable insights that influence product decisions, campaign strategy, and pricing models.

4. Partnership & Ecosystem Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve monetisation efficiency and delivery quality.
  • Support discussions on new partnerships, integrations, and certifications that enable business growth.
  • Align with Sales and Operations teams to ensure consistent business delivery and revenue realisation.
  • 5. Offline Branding & Market Research
  • Explore and evaluate opportunities in offline and vehicle-based branding.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and vendor analysis to identify scalable formats and pricing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 24 years of experience in business strategy, product monetisation, or digital revenue strategy within a consumer-facing product or platform environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Understanding of digital monetisation models, user engagement funnels, and advertising ecosystems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally across Product, Tech, and Business teams.
  • High ownership mindset, structured thinking, and bias for execution in dynamic environments. Preferred Experience
  • Experience working on product monetisation, ad strategy, or consumer engagement initiatives.
  • Exposure to marketplace or app-based business models with diverse user touchpoints.
  • Comfort with data interpretation and developing actionable business narratives from complex datasets.
