Associate_Management Company Accounting / US Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the IORS division.

This role will support one of Acuity's buy-side clients with management company accounting activities, with a primary focus on cash management, general ledger reconciliations, expense accounting, fixed assets, tax-support activities, and financial reporting.

Management Company Accounting Support

• Perform daily cash reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unreconciled items.
• Prepare and distribute daily cash reports, ensuring cash balances and movements are accurate and timely.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) journal entries in Workday.
• Maintain prepaid-expense schedules and record periodic amortization entries accurately.
• Perform accrued-expense analysis, validate supporting documentation, and prepare related accrual entries.
• Manage fixed-asset accounting activities in the Workday Fixed Assets module, including asset setup, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain supporting schedules.
• Reconcile charitable contributions and marketing-conference expenses, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and documentation.
• Assist with sales and use tax and commercial rent tax return preparation, reconciliation, and supporting schedules.
• Support preparation of Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) quarterly reporting and related data validation.
• Review expense coding in the Workday Expense module for accuracy, completeness, policy compliance, and proper general ledger allocation.
