Position Purpose

Network Administration APAC- , the primary responsibility of this team is to manage the ongoing/future account opening/ modifying/ closing activities for BNP Paribas Securities Services Locations and their Clients. These accounts will be managed and administered through our Sub Custodians & Cash Correspondents present in the APAC region.

An Associate in this team is to handle the process by following the SOP, assist in solving escalation cases and have a complete watch over of the entire team's on-going BAU

Responsibilities

  • Act to guarantee global quality and level of service.
  • Oversee the processing of Account Opening, modifications and closure.
  • Monitoring of daily emails sent by the team to external agents, GC location and other internal stakeholders
  • Ensures and informs the team to process the emails with extreme care due to sensitivity of information flow.
  • Monitoring of DDV survey and SLA done by us for the sub-custodians.
  • Monitors the yearly reconciliation process done by the team as and when the Network Manager requests.
  • Participate in regular conference calls with GC locations.
  • Participates in calls for SLA drawn between the GC locations and Network Admin APAC team.
  • Establishing communication links with the GC locations to discuss daily operational & performance issues.
  • Responsible for drafting the monthly KPI management for agreed GC locations.
  • Conduct weekly meeting with the team to ensure the activities being performed are in line with the procedures and to be kept informed of what is happening round the clock.
  • Responsible to schedule meeting when the team requires discussion about process update, process change etc.
  • Responsible of Recruitment, training and appraisal.
  • Responsible to manage HR issues and mobility management of the team.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies


  • Strong knowledge in Financial markets, definition of terms used in securities services sector.
  • Expertise in Using Banking Software's & overall awareness of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.

A prior knowledge of various Message types that are used in the securities services industry.
