Job Description

Responsibilities / Deliverables:
Pricing Management & Reconciliation
• Oversee end-to-end pricing processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across the
· Catalog.
• Conduct regular pricing reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies between source systems and
· the live Catalog.
• Influence pricing accuracy through structured audits and root-cause analysis of recurring discrepancies.
Catalog Data Standards & Quality Control
• Establish and enforce QC protocols for Catalog data, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to defined
• standards before publishing.
• Develop, document, and enforce Catalog data standards across teams to ensure uniformity and data
• integrity.
• Drive initiatives for new data creation and continuous enhancement of existing Catalog data to improve quality and usability.
Enterprise Taxonomy & Catalog Content
• Define and maintain enterprise-level taxonomy structures to support scalable, consistent product
• categorization.
• Lead the creation of accurate, SEO-friendly, and customer-ready product content across the Catalog.
Product Onboarding
• Manage the onboarding of new products into the Catalog, ensuring completeness and compliance with
• data standards.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and Sourcing teams to ensure timely and accurate product setup.
Platform Management (Magento)
• Utilize Magento for Catalog uploads, updates, troubleshooting, and platform-level data management.
• Support platform enhancements and flag data or workflow issues for resolution.
Team Leadership
• Guide and mentor a team of Catalog associates/analysts, ensuring productivity, quality benchmarks, and
• timely delivery.
• Set daily/weekly priorities, review output, and provide coaching for skill development.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, IT, and eCommerce teams to align Catalog operations with business goals.
• Escalate systemic data or platform issues to the Senior Manager/Head with supporting analysis.
Specific Job Requirements
• 7–9 years of relevant experience in Catalog management, eCommerce operations, or product data
• management.
• Hands-on experience with Magento (Catalog module, product uploads, attribute management).
• Proven experience in pricing strategy, pricing audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Expertise in taxonomy design and Catalog data governance.
• Strong data quality and QC management skills.
• Experience in product data enrichment/enhancement and content creation.
• Solid understanding of product onboarding workflows in an eCommerce environment.
• Prior experience in a team lead/associate lead capacity preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
Success Metrics
• Pricing accuracy and reconciliation turnaround time.
• Catalog data quality, completeness, and QC pass rates.
• Timeliness and accuracy of new product onboarding.
• Consistency and adoption of enterprise taxonomy and data standards.
• Team productivity, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines.
